HEC ETC Entry Test Pattern, Syllabus, Sample Paper And Online Preparation

Categories and Patterns:

  1. Category A (BPS-19)
    • Positions: Director, Project Director, Program Director, Regional Director
    • Pattern:
      • Objective Questions (70%): Includes MCQs on project management, HR, financial management, total quality management, IT, and basic mathematics.
      • Subjective Questions (30%): Includes an essay (20 marks) and precis writing (10 marks).
  2. Category B (BPS-18)
    • Positions: Technical Monitoring Officer, Deputy Directors
    • Pattern:
      • Objective Questions (70%): Includes MCQs on project preparation, monitoring, evaluation, general knowledge, current affairs, everyday science, basic mathematics, and IT.
      • Subjective Questions (30%): Includes essay writing and precis writing.
  3. Category C (BPS-18 and BPS-17)
    • Positions: Accounts Manager, Accounts Officer
    • Pattern:
      • Objective Questions (70%): Includes MCQs on general financial rules, financial management, and cost accounting.
      • Subjective Questions (30%): Includes essay writing and precis writing.
  4. Category D (BPS-17)
    • Positions: Assistant Director, Project Manager, Assistant Project Director, Project Officer
    • Pattern:
      • Objective Questions (70%): Includes MCQs on project management, organizational management, business communication, IT, general knowledge, and basic mathematics.
      • Subjective Questions (30%): Includes essay writing and precis writing.
