New Daycare Center Inaugurated at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital
Hameeda Waheed ud Din, the Provincial Minister for Women Development, recently inaugurated an upgraded daycare center at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. She shared with the media her commitment to supporting working women by providing facilities that make their work-life balance easier.
Purpose of the Daycare Center
The new daycare center is designed to help working women by providing quality care for their children while they are at work. This initiative is part of a broader program being rolled out in various cities to support working parents.
Inauguration Event
At the inauguration ceremony, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fakhar Iman, Medical Superintendent Dr. Nauman, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Rameeza Kaleem, along with many nurses, were present. The Provincial Minister toured the playroom, nursery, and kitchen of the daycare center and praised the high standards of the facilities.
Punjab Daycare Fund Society
The Punjab Daycare Fund Society is overseeing the management of these centers to ensure they operate effectively. So far, more than 55 daycare centers have been opened, with this new center at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital being the latest addition.
