Steps for Nikah
- Role of the Wali:

- Both the bride and groom prepare for the Nikah. This ceremony takes place under the supervision of two witnesses.
- Mehr:
- Mehr is a mandatory gift from the groom to the bride. It is given once the bride agrees to the marriage. The bride must say “Qabool hai” (I accept) three times to confirm her agreement.
- Signing the Documents:
- The bride signs the marriage documents in the presence of the two witnesses. The witnesses also sign and confirm the documents. The Imam also signs to validate the Nikah.
